  • Heidi Keighran

JSLaw was the only practise in the Region who responded quickly and professionally to my initial contact. Most didn't respond at all. I instantly knew I was in the hands of professionals - to my relief."

Solicitor Heidi Keighran was astonishingly successful in court. And she did it with thorough research, intelligent probing and - to my delight - a big sense of humour. I felt morally supported in a trying situation. My partner and I not only heard Heidi's empathy, we felt it. Her professionalism even extended to helpful after-service, which is rare these days. Heidi clearly cares."

Heidi Keighran graduated from Victoria University with Honours in 2014 and completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University (ANU) . Heidi studied International Law in Austria at the University of Salzburg, and in Croatia through Pittsburg University (USA).

Heidi also has a strong passion for oral advocacy and represented Victoria University in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria.

Prior to coming to the law, Heidi worked as a stipendiary steward in the Victorian thoroughbred racing industry.

Heidi joined JS Law in 2014 and primarily practices in Criminal Law and Intervention Order matters. Heidi also practices in Victims of Crime Assistance and Family Law.

Heidi regularly appears in the Magistrates Court of Victoria, and has appeared as instructing solicitor in the County and Supreme Courts of Victoria.

Heidi’s focus is providing a professional and empathetic service to her clients.

Heidi is a member of the Victorian Women Lawyers Association, including as a Mentor to law students, the Law Institute of Victoria Judicial Mentoring Program, and Committee Member of the Bendigo Law Association.
